Venesuela is a non-issue they have to sell their Oil somewhere or their entire economy and government will collapse.
They sell to us because we are closer and they can make more profit or they sell to someone else and shut us and and make less money on their Oil.
In which case we buy Oil from whoever did not sell it because Chavez underbid their price.
We will get what Oil we need with or without them.
